Balsamo never stops: mobility 24 hours a day, every day of the year, even today. Once a year, however, the team allows itself a pause, to look each other in the eye: this is the meaning of Meet & Grow, the event where the Group “grows” through its people, not just through numbers. This edition featured President Pietro Trapletti’s words on dedication, the testimony of great athlete Juri Chechi, and an evening of games, smiles, and an exceptional venue in the splendid setting of Monasterolo Castle – to remind us of one simple thing: the Group’s true asset is its people.
At the heart of the evening was Pietro Trapletti’s address, titled “The goal doesn’t wait”: difficulties don’t ask permission, but those who keep their eyes fixed on the goal always find a way to move forward. At the core of his words was dedication: not sacrifice, but the daily choice to put talent, effort, and time at the service of something one believes in – not out of obligation, but out of conviction.
Adding to the evening was Juri Chechi, a legend of the rings and one of the greatest Italian gymnasts of all time. In conversation with Trapletti, Chechi shared his story of perseverance, recalling that medals are not born on the day of victory, but in the silent training that no one sees – a testimony that speaks directly to Balsamo’s values: consistency, discipline, and the will to get back up.
There was also room for lightheartedness, with dinner and a DJ set among colleagues, and a comedy show by Norberto Midani who, between one joke and the next, touched with irony on the same values of the evening.
The afternoon had opened with the Balsamo Olympic Games – A World of Champions: ten teams, named after areas of the world, competing in challenges inspired by the five continents – a playful way to rediscover the same precision that guides our services every day. Because the Group’s true asset is not its offices, nor its numbers: it is its people. And the goal doesn’t wait. And neither do we.
